Silex Banking Company is switching core systems.
What does that mean?
We are replacing our banks core banking system which is the foundation for all of the bank’s operations.
Some changes you can expect to see include:

- Contactless debit cards
- Early withdrawals on CDs
- Emailed receipts & notices
- External transfers
- Cut-off time on Fridays will be 6:00 pm
- View credit scores in our app
- More efficient mobile deposit
- New website and mobile banking
You will also receive a new debit card in the mail ahead of the conversion. We will share additional information as we get closer to the transition date.
In order to make this upgrade, the bank will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20 and will be closed on Saturday, February 21 in 2026.
