Betty Zuroweste started at the bank in 1980 as a teller. She is currently Chief Operations Officer, BSA Officer and IT Officer. Betty grew up in Silex with six brothers. She and her husband Dale live on their farm where they raise row crops and cattle. They have a son and two daughters and three grandchildren. Betty enjoys baking, being outside and having fun with her family and friends. She is currently on the board of the Silex Banking Company and Lincoln County Council on Aging. She also helps at the annual Lincoln County Fair. Betty is a member of the St. Alphonsus Parish.
When Betty thinks about the Silex Banking Company, this is what she has to say: “During my employment here, I have seen many changes in banking and the bank works hard to keep up with the times and offer our customers the latest in technology. We try do this without losing the personalized service that is so important in a small community bank. I think we have accomplished both things for our customers.”
